Open standards

Every asset is stored as an Asset Administration Shell (AAS V3) JSON file in a folder on your machine — the open industrial standard for describing assets and their data.

  • Assets are plain JSON on your own disk — readable, diffable and version-controllable without PLCforge
  • IDTA-standard submodels where the standard defines them, ours where it does not
  • Programs export to Rockwell L5X and PLCopen XML for CODESYS and OpenPLC
